Job Requirements
Based in Dubai, Optima LLC is a renowned insurance brokerage company specializing in insurance products. Due to business growth there is an immediate requirement for an experienced Operations Manager to join the business. The Operations Manager will support the Head of Finance & Operations in handling the company’s insurance operations. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong track record of developing teams and holding strong communication skills at a senior level in the insurance industry, preferably Life. Duties of the Operations Manager to include: • Ensure that all Service level agreements are designed in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with Insurance specifications and quality requirements • Implementing and writing process and procedures within your business • Chalking out or improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee finest operations framework • Use your analytical skills to assess situations • Ensure sales support service efficiency • Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives • Challenge senior management and decision makers • Examine financial data/statements and use them to improve profitability • Create working strategies to ensure all of your areas are exceeding targets • Perform quality controls and monitor operations KPI’s • Create schemes to develop management teams • Recruit, train, supervise and appraise operations/ sales support manpower • Cater to internal clients’(Sales staff) and employee concerns Experience and skill sets required: To be successful in this role of Operations Manager, you will have previously worked in roles such as Regional Operations Manager, Operations Director or Regional Manager • Adequate knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management • Budget development and oversight experience. forecasting and metrics • Familiarity with insurance business and financial principles and practices • Basic IT skills (databases, MS Office etc) • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization • Leadership and organisational skills • BS degree in operations management or related field If you think you possess what it takes to be an Operations Manager and demonstrate the required skills & experience, then please apply now and send your resume , following the below instructions: Email: hroptimauae.com, with the position title mentioned as Manager Operations in the subject line.
